Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) incorporated on 17 March 1978, has emerged as the country’s premier investment institution. As an investment vehicle for the Yayasan Pelaburan Bumiputera (YPB), the core function of PNB is to evaluate, select and acquire a sound portfolio of shares in limited companies with growth potential. Being an organization that specializes in investment and financial, PNB need to have talents that able to effectively compete in a challenging economic environment. Training also is a requirement needed for every year performance appraisal. Training in PNB, for non- executive level requires completing at least 8 to 10 hours of training in a year and for the executive and higher level 15 hours to complete. First and foremost employee needs to fill up the training need analysis (TNA) online. Employee needs to fill up the training program either technical or theory training they need by stating scale before his or her attends the training. After all the process for pre training, post training evaluation after they went to the training need to see the results. All training process in PNB need changes to aligned with the organization objective and goals as a results shown that the training effectiveness.
