Depression is a very serious mental disorder which is caused by experiencing severe sadness and extreme stress that affects the person behavior, way of thinking and the way they act. Fortunately, it is a treatable disease and can be treated in many different ways. This study focuses more on using Art as a tool on overcoming such a serious illness. By doing art activities, people can express their thoughts and feelings and by creating things that distracts us from stress and from minding our personal problems. Creating an artwork helps our mind to relax, refocus, and to unwind. On the other hand, mostly of those who experience depression nowadays are students. Due to heavy overloaded school works, hectic schedules and other personal matters that give lots of stress to the students, it affects their emotions. These emotions may lead them to feel depress and it deprives them from good health.
